What Goes Around Comes Around

These four posters were done by Big Ant International, for the Global Coalition for Peace. The images are designed to wrap around poles and campaign for an end to the war in Iraq. It is this type of creative that shows ideas must be pushed far outside the box to get the best results. The creative here is the design placement.

Coca Cola Can Design

Coke representatives were given out free cans of soda the other day. Gladly, I took one and then realized the sweet design on the can. It's a special edition, Summer 2009 can. I tried to see if there was more designs out there, but I couldn't find any. I LOVE the aviators. Love.

Enjoy Everything Responsibly

This is one of the 103 mini "protest signs" designed in honor of the 60th anniversary of UDHR (Universal Declaration of Human Rights). I like the humor of it, combined with the simple design. More info about the project can be found here.

I love the Alternative Rugby Commentary website, its fun and not what would be expected of a rugby website. I guess that explains the alternative part of their name, haha...check it out.

I love these skateboard decks created by Mark Owens and Matt Owens of Athletics, an art and design collective out of Brooklyn. The boards, created for Zoo York, "represent the socio-cultural realms of Literature, Architecture, The Arts, Transit, Food and Tourism. Together the series encompasses New York’s 'Urbane Jungle.'" The bright colors and iconic images really pop.

Hero Design

These rockin' posters are by Hero Design Studio in Buffalo, New York. The studio specializes in music related designs and there is even a Hero's Boutique. According to their blog, the boutique is 'Western New York's largest retailer of limited edition designer toys, silkscreen concert posters, P22 font collections & so much more designer geek stuff." Enjoy!

Olly Moss Designs

These are some sweet designs by wickedly talented Olly Moss. I absolutely love the recreations of movie posters. It took me a second to understand the Die Hard poster, but as a big fan of the movie, I soon understood it and loved it even more. Definitely check out Moss' website, there's plenty of great work.

West Surfing Logo

At first, I didn't think much of the logo for West Surfing but then I thought, it's actually perfect. The wave style W is perfect for the surfing retail company. Hang ten.
