I just started to watch Robin Hood from the BBC and thought the show's logo was well-crafted. The typeface fits the simple forest life the character leads while including his signature: the arrow.
I saw the Where the Wild Things Are trailer awhile ago and loved everything about the it, from the typeface to the music. It looks like the film will be a visual adventure, just like the book.
It took me a few seconds to figure out how this piece works. The 2001 film festival poster portrays one of my all time favs, Paul Newman. Tilt your head to the left. Then to the right. Hopefully you'll see it now. Found here.
I love how these letters connect and the combo of capitol letters, lowercase letters and cursive (kind of the style I write in, but this is much prettier!) This typeface works well for a short saying like this but probably couldn't be used as a body font because it is too complicated. However, I could very well see this being framed and put on a wall as art. (I couldn't find the creator of this typeface but I found it here.)
